A1) There are 29 bones altogether in the skull and jaw. They
make the box to protect the brains, eyes and ears.

A2) The skull supports the structures of the face and forms
a cavity for the brain. It protects the brain from injury.

this is so?
A3) Our femur (thigh bone) is not only the largest bone, but
also the strongest one, bearing much of the weight of our body.

A4) The smallest bone in the human body is a tiny middle ear
bone called the Stapes or Stirrup bone.
Q5) What parts of your body do you think the ribs surround? Why
do you think the ribs are there?
A5) Our ribs form a protective cage that encloses many
organs like our heart and lungs.
Q6) How strong are your arm muscles? Design a fair test to
find out?
A6) When we lift the weight our Bicep contracts and Triceps
get relax. However, when we drop weight Triceps contract and Bicep gets relax.
Q7) Why is the heart not joined to any bone?
A7) The heart is a special muscle that is not joined to any
bone.

A8) A skeleton is a hard, strong frame that supports our
bodies from the inside.
Q9) What are skeleton made up of?
A9) Skeletons are made up of bones.
Q10) How do you feel the bones of your skeleton?
A10) We can feel the bones your skeleton through your skin.
Q11) Why must skeletons be hard and strong?
A11) Skeletons are hard and strong to support the body.
Q12) Why do you think the bones of your skeleton are
different shapes and sizes?
A12) The bones of our skeleton are of different shapes and
sizes because each bone perform different work to do.
Q13) Bones are not heavy. How do you think this helps
animals?
A13) Bones are not heavy because it helps animals to run
fast and work quickly.
Q14) Draw a picture of what you think a person without a
skeleton might look like?
A14) The body without skeleton will be like wobbly jelly.
